Job Description :

Our Client is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, develop, and implement control systems for industrial automation projects.

You’ll work on PLC, DCS, and HMI / SCADA systems, support electrical design, and ensure project delivery meets client expectations.

This role offers hands-on engineering, client interaction, and opportunities for leadership on technical projects.

Key Responsibilities :

• Design and program PLC, DCS, and HMI / SCADA systems (Rockwell, DeltaV, Ignition, etc.)
• Develop and document control system architectures, schematics, and configurations
• Support system installation, testing, commissioning, and validation
• Collaborate cross-functionally with project and field teams
• Troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain control system performance
• Ensure compliance with cGMP, 21 CFR Part 11, and GAMP5 standards

Must-Have Skills :

1. 5+ years of hands-on experience with Rockwell Automation (PLC, HMI / SCADA)

2. Experience with DCS (Emerson DeltaV preferred)

3. Familiarity with industrial communication protocols (Ethernet / IP, Modbus, Profibus, OPC, etc.)

4. Strong understanding of electrical schematics and field instrumentation

5. Experience with SQL databases and automation data systems

6. Excellent client communication and project execution skills

Work Location :

On-site in Wilmington, MA (travel up to 25%)
