Job Title : Administrative Assistant
Job Location : Human Resources – Learning and Development
Schedule : Monday – Friday 8 : 00am-4 : 30pm
Payrate : $18.00 / hr.
Job Duties :
Customer Service - Answer incoming calls, handling walk-in customers, and assist in responding to email inquiries; respond to questions from members regarding training, professional development programs, room reservations, and direct callers to the proper person or office etc. Assist in setting up and breakdown of classes, events, and programs in our training rooms in two locations.
- Training and Program Support – Administrative and office support duties as assigned to support the division which include but are not limited to preparing and printing training materials, sending emails, pulling and printing training class rosters, prepare class evaluation forms. Scheduling of training rooms and assist with moderating classes when necessary. The candidate would serve as a back-up moderator for training and assist with developing flyers / marketing materials and sending them via email distribution lists.
- Data Entry (LMS) – Work with Microsoft Office applications to perform administrative support tasks as assigned to support the division which include drafting emails, letters, and creating excel spreadsheets. In addition, entering and compiling course evaluation results with MS Forms and MS Excel. Data entry into the Learning Management System (LMS) is an essential task along with updating information on the division's various platforms as needed. The candidate would also help members troubleshoot minor issues with access to the LMS.
Minimum Qualifications :
High school or GED plus three (3) years' experience in fields providing the required knowledge, skills, and abilities and associated with such positions as clerk typist or office assistant.Passing score on a typing test may be required
