Sumitomo Electric Carbide, Inc. (SCI), a Sumitomo Electric Group company, is looking for a Quotations Assistant in Mt. Prospect, IL. The position is responsible for a variety of customer service and administrative activities in our Mt. Prospect, IL office. Up to $20 / hour

Job Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for customer service and administrative support activities for the quotation function, including coordinating product pricing and quotation; and for processing orders for samples and trunk stock.

• Provides Customer Support Communicating with customers on the phone, answering questions related to products, services, and quotation, and conveying message to the appropriate parties; performs any other duties as directed by management.
• Prepares Quotes by communicating regularly with sales staff, manufacturers and customers; by working with sales staff and manufacturer to create proposal or quotes; by providing requested information and documentation to Sales Staff as scheduled; and by generating and archiving quotations, proposals, and other documents in accordance with Company procedures.
• Provides Administrative Support by maintaining the filing system; by processing orders for samples and trunk stock; and by performing any other duties as directed by management.
