About the Role :

We’re hiring a Commercial Roofing Estimator to manage the full bidding process for large-scale commercial, municipal, and institutional roofing projects across Connecticut and the Northeast. This role involves reviewing plans, performing takeoffs, pricing materials / labor, and submitting competitive proposals.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Review drawings, specs, and addenda
  • Perform material and labor takeoffs
  • Evaluate supplier / subcontractor quotes
  • Prepare and submit bids and RFPs
  • Attend site visits and pre-bid meetings
  • Coordinate project handoffs with teams
  • Maintain estimate and bid records

Qualifications :

  • 3–5 years of commercial roofing estimating (EPDM, TPO, PVC, etc.)
  • Skilled in estimating software (e.g., The EDGE, Bluebeam)
  • Strong understanding of roofing systems and construction drawings
  • Valid driver’s license
