Key Responsibilities :
Accurately process biweekly payroll for all employees
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
Maintain payroll records and documentation for auditing and reporting
Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and confidentiality
Collaborate with HR and Finance teams to ensure accurate employee data and benefits deductions
Assist with year-end payroll tasks, including W-2 preparation and reporting
Support internal audits and external reporting requirements
Qualifications :
Proven experience in payroll processing
Strong knowledge of payroll laws and best practices
Proficiency with payroll systems and Excel
Excellent organizational and communication skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and accuracy
Public sector experience is a plus, but not required
Salary starting at $60,000
