Description

The Children's Home of Poughkeepsie has been caring for children throughout the Hudson Valley for over 175 years! We strive to empower children and families to achieve optimal health and well being. We are currently seeking Full-Time Cook to workin our Support Services Department.

Position Summary :

The Cook prepares and serves meals, and maintains kitchen and storage areas, all in accordance with the policies and standards of the Dutchess County Department of Behavioral and Community Health, the State Education Child Nutrition Program, and the Agency.

Schedule

Sunday - Tuesday 7am-3pm, Wednesday-Thursday 9 : 30am-5 : 30pm, Friday-Saturday OFF

Qualifications

MINIMUM Qualifications :

• High School Diploma or Equivalent
• Valid NYS Driver License in good condition as determined by the Agency
• Must complete and pass a pre-employment physical, PPD and drug screen and an annual physical and PPD.
