Quality Improvement Workforce Program Coordinator
The Iowa Vocational Rehabilitation Team at Iowa Workforce Development is accepting applications for full-time Quality Improvement Workforce Program Coordinator role in our Iowa WORKS offices.
Domicile will be determined based on the hired candidate's location at one of our Iowa Works centers. Job description and responsibilities include :
- Plan, develop and coordinate a program of quality improvement that meets the Federal regulations.
- Evaluate area office case records monthly as well as through targeted case file reviews.
- Coordinate with Executive Team and / or Planning and Development Team members to develop targeted review instruments.
- Compile reports that can be utilized by area office supervisors to ensure staff are meeting compliance and working towards quality.
- Synthesize Quality Improvement results and track using a spreadsheet.
- Plan, develop, implement and coordinate a process that ensures IVRS is reporting valid data.
- Analyze VR program expenditures to assure compliance with 2 CFR 200.
- Provide guidance to IVRS field staff in areas identified within the Quality Improvement review and advise the IVRS Training Team in areas where further training is needed.
- Develop recommendations for policy changes and contribute to discussions related to policy and procedure changes for the division.
- Stay up to date on Federal and State guidance (e.g., Federal regulations, Iowa Code, division policies, etc.) and develop changes to the quality improvement process to ensure the Quality Improvement Program stays in alignment with changes at the federal and state levels.
- Perform quality reviews including, but not limited to, VRTAC-QM, VR Wellness Check and actively participate in RSA 107 monitoring in the role of QI subject matter expert.
- Review Customer Satisfaction Survey results and provide consultation to IVRS leadership staff regarding areas of focus for training and targeted file reviews in quality improvement areas.
- Develop surveys to assess IVRS staff satisfaction and develop reports to submit to the Executive Leadership Team.
- The successful candidate must be able to pass a criminal background check conducted by the Iowa Department of Public Safety.
