Hire Type : Direct Hire

Target hourly : $20-23.00

Job Summary : Perform day-to-day product and process audits that monitor production activities and generate performance data in a manufacturing facility. This also includes visual inspections, collecting, building and maintaining records / documentations while rotating through the facility to build broad product knowledge and ensuring quality standards are maintained.

Job Duties :

• Inspect large complex assemblies and document, inspections in varied environments
• Process non-conforming material in production departments
• Conduct product audits / inspections on major sub-assemblies and final products during and after production has completed their operations to see if the unit meets specifications and needs of fitness for use
• Conduct in-process monitoring while product is being assembled and recording the associated defect data
• Assist in monitoring special projects including accompanying customers and outside inspectors
• Complete documentation requirements, e.g. Document Change Control, Inspection Records
• Assist in work instruction / procedure development
• Assist and or lead root cause / problem–solving within departments
• Conduct and maintain weld evaluation, monitoring, and sampling program
• Assist with Data Packages (PPAP / FAI)
• Assist with calibration activities
