SUMMARY. The Client Care Tech (CCT) Manager is primarily responsible for the client's safety, care, social & service support and development. The CCT Manager supervises the Client Care Techs to ensure their duties and responsibilities are carried out according to their job description. This position has oversight to ensure that clients are safe, have all physical needs met, socially engaged and developed through programming. This position has oversight to ensure that the residential units are safe, clean and orderly. The CCT Manager helps address the concerns of staff and interventions with the clients.
WORK HOURS : The incumbent may be assigned to one of the following shifts for this position
a) Monday through Friday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
b) Sunday through Thursday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, 4 : 00 pm to 12 : 30 am, 12 : 00 am to 8 : 30 am
c) Tuesday through Saturday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm, 4 : 00 pm to 12 : 30 pm, 12 : 00 pm to 8 : 30 am
d) Saturday & Sunday 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS :
- Supervised by the Director of Programs and / or Executive Director
- The Client Care Tech Manager (CCTM) is a role model in behavior and work ethic for the staff and clients
- Adheres to Avery's Village, LLC. Employee Policies and Procedures manual
- Completes all required training
- Maintains the proper staff to client ratio, filling in for shifts as needed
- This position supervises the Client Care Tech (CCT) staff
Ensure the duties and responsibilities of the CCT staff are carried out
Assists in creating the staff schedule for the three shiftsEnsure staff completes required training and attends all meetingsFacilitate staff meetingsMonitors the staff performanceRegularly communicates with staffConducts weekly supervision with the CCTThis position is responsible for the residential unitsSupervises the Cook for all daily meals and snacks
Ensure the facility is safe, clean and orderlyMonitor and ensure completion of the staff chore checklistFill out Work Order Form when a unit is broken, damaged or in need of repairHold emergency drillsCheck out equipment to the clients and staffThis position is responsible for the clientsOversee the client's safety, care, social & service support and developmentSeek and schedule developmental programming at the facility for clientsMaintains and enforces the Level systemHelp with the intake of new clientsPerform regular head countsAssist with interventions with the clientsAssist with client's transportationAssist with client's medicationCheck the client's completion of their daily chores and responsibilitiesAssist with monitoring client's phone calls and visitationsPerforms other duties assigned by the Director of Programs or Executive DirectorPHYSICAL DEMANDS :
Frequently move / lift between 25-50 pounds, depending on assignment requirementsPerform all duties that may require sitting, kneeling, squatting and walkingManual dexterity and fine motor coordinationREQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
Candidates must be at least 21 years of age or olderBachelor's degree from an accredited college in management or Human Services related field2-5 years previous experience as a manager or supervisorFamiliarity with mental health theory and practiceProficient technology skills utilizing either a Macintosh or Windows platform, including the Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) requiredDESIRABLE KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, and ABILITIES :
Current CPR / First Aid CertificationKnowledgeable and sensitive in working with culturally diverse staff and clientsSolid knowledge in social helping and a positive approach to complex mental health issuesExcellent interpersonal and communication skills, including both oral and written.Must have strong skills in organization and planning, demonstrated ability to work independently and problem solveDemonstrated ability to manage multiple people and projectsAbility to prioritize tasks, exercise sound judgment and confidentiality with sensitive informationAbility to establish effective working relationships with staff, community agencies, and consumersOTHER POSITION ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS :
