The candidate will be an experienced, initiative-focused, and effective Business Development professional with a track record of business growth. The successful candidate will manage accounts within our referral partner program, as well as drive new business through new partners identified and developed. This position is an individual contributor role and will require extensive networking, account management and prospecting skills. Coordinating with marketing, finance, operations, and support departments in developing and implementing in-home sales strategies, through our Business Partner Referral Program, with the goal of doubling the business over the next three to five years.
KEY TASKS &RESPONSIBILITIES :
- Active networking and prospecting required to secure new business partners.
- Account management required to sustain business relationships and lead generation through our existing business partners.
- Plan and host regular business partner events (both internally and externally) to ensure our partners are current on all Value Dry capabilities and offerings.
- Maintain an active list of all business partner prospects and business partners for ongoing marketing campaigns and general communications.
- Keep Value Dry employees informed of the Business Partner network and our network’s capabilities to enhance our offerings to our customers.
- Assist with the development of marketing collateral pieces for the Referral Partner Program.
- Secure new leads for business through our referral partner network.
- Own and manage all Business Partner outreach efforts to include monthly newsletters and social media posts.
- Active participation in a Business Network International (BNI) local chapter.
- Ability and willingness to work both evenings and weekends when needed to support business initiatives.
- Occasionally run sales leads as an inspector when directed by management or run self generated leads on your own time.
Requirements : QUALIFICATIONS :
Five to ten years industry experience within the Consumer Service / Home Improvement / Direct Home Sales marketplace.Bachelor’s degree in business, sales, communication, marketing, or related field preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience is required.Proven track record of business development.Experience with CRM Platforms (Salesforce.com (i360) preferred)Ability to type proficiently.Customer-oriented with ability to effectively communicate using both verbal and written skills.Good phone skills and successful track record of prospecting.The ability to generate new business.Strong networking and appointment-setting skills.Excellent deal-closing skills.Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point.DESIRED PERSONAL TRAITS :
