job_description.job_card.job_descriptionOperate communication systems to receive and dispatch calls for service within the educational location. Monitor surveillance systems and alarm panels to promptly report and document any security-related incidents or unusual activity. Serve as a central communication point for security-related concerns, relaying information to security personnel and / or emergency responders as needed. Assist in coordinating the response of Allied Universal team members to incidents within the facility. Maintain detailed logs of all calls, security-related incidents, and actions taken during each shift. Provide customer service by assisting students, staff, and visitors with inquiries and security-related needs. Support the implementation of site-specific security-related policies and procedures. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Must have at least 1 year of security-related experience. Must be at least 21 years of age. A valid guard card or license is preferred. CPR certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
