Job Description

The Syracuse University Marketing Division is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and systems- and process-minded Multimedia Operations Manager to join our creative teams. This role will help lead resource planning, work balancing and assignments, workflow optimization, digital asset management (DAM) administration, equipment management, and vendor relationships. The role partners across the Division to ensure resources are properly mapped to assignments. With the strategic ability to project and plan for resource needs, this individual coordinates with the Director of Multimedia and the Multimedia Coordinator to ensure the right photography resource is mapped to the right project at the right time to deliver the right results.

Qualifications

Education and Experience :

• Bachelor's degree, preferred majors : Visual Arts / Photography, Library Science, Archive Management or Information Systems, or directly applicable work experience.
• 3-5 years of marketing and brand stewardship, digital asset management, design, project management or related business experience; 3-5 years in photography ideal.
• 2-4 years leading or managing complex teams.
• Design skills within Adobe Creative Suite a plus.
• Digital Asset Management Certification is preferred but not required.
