Robotics Engineer

I am working on a long term contract with a large scale customer in Des Moines IA. The customer has this position slated through the end of the year and then plans to renew annually on an ongoing basis. This would be 100% onsite since they are working with physical hardware daily. Open to relo.

They are looking for the following from a technical perspective (listed in order of importance) :

• 5 Years of experience with NVIDIA Jetson
• Deep knowledge of GStreamer (alternatives include OSO Studio and FFmpeg)
• 5 Years of experience developing solutions in Python and C for embedded systems
• Experience developing solutions for PLC in Structured Text
• Experience developing solutions in C# .NET Structured Text

The individual will be working on a robotic device that will be used in agricultural fields to take photos / video and collect real-time data on various crops. This data then is imported into an application / platform that tracks conditions and makes sure it is optimal for harvesting.
