Part-Time Logistics Administrator
PrideStaff is currently seeking a Part-Time Logistics Administrator for a family-owned company located in Ontario, CA. The company is in the transportation industry. This is a temporary contract position with potential for hire. Please see the job requirements below to be considered.
Shift : 20-25 hours weekly, Monday-Friday (Flexible on hours, working 4- 6 hours daily, can start as early as 9 am or as late as 1 pm. The schedule is flexible)
Pay Rate : $20-22 (depending on experience)
Job Duties :
- Primary function will be to audit freight bills
- Customer Service : Respond to customers or vendors via phone or email.
- Some accounting is a plus. Strong math skills are a must.
- Ability to utilize Excel / strong computer skills.
- Must have the ability to create and update Excel spreadsheets, compose emails, go into carriers website to get shipping reports, documents, interact with customers, etc.
- Perform data entry accurately.
Job Requirements :
1-2 years of experience in an office environment (preferably in the Transportation Industry or a similar industry).Trucking / brokerage is strongly desired.Customer Service experience in an office or warehouse environment.Professional attitude and teamwork.Ability to complete tasks with little to no help.Computer-literate with knowledge of Microsoft suite products.Communication :
Speaking and hearing are essential to communicate with customers, vendors, and staff.Good communication skills; ability to read, speak, and write English fluently.Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to) : $20.00 - $22.00
