Windows Systems Administrator

HRL is seeking a Windows Systems Administrator to join the Special Programs IT team in Malibu, CA. The successful candidate will collaborate with other systems administrators located in Malibu and at various locations throughout the United States. A willingness to continue learning new technologies is a must. An active Top Secret / SCI clearance and experience in classified programs is required.

Essential Duties :

• Work with multi-disciplined team members under general supervision
• Provide a friendly and professional point of contact for customers
• Perform independent troubleshooting of complex incidents
• Maintain Windows systems comprised of servers, workstations, and thin clients
• Administer installation of software, hardware, file system management, backups, process control, user administration, and device management
• Resolve a wide variety of complex system failures, troubleshooting software, hardware, and network problems
• Perform system and user account maintenance
• Monitor, evaluate, and optimize system performance
• Document maintenance & ticketing actions
• Develop and promote standard operating procedures and conduct routine hardware and software audits of servers to ensure compliance with established standards, policies, and configuration guidelines

Compensation :

The base salary range for this full-time position is $90,640 - $113,353 + bonus + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
