Associate Clinical Director – Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
Location : Richmond, VA | Full-Time | Clinic-Based Leadership Role

We’re seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Richmond, VA clinic as an Associate Clinical Director —a leadership position focused on mentoring clinicians, supporting families, and maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality.

Key Responsibilities
Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to BCBAs, RBTs, BTs, and ABA traineesLead caregiver training and ensure treatment consistency to support client progressManage personal billable utilization while helping your team meet theirsDeliver direct therapy and oversee clinical services to maintain high standards of careReview treatment plans, progress notes, and documentation for accuracy and complianceOversee staff and student supervision in accordance with BACB requirementsContribute to professional development, training, and team meetingsCollaborate on clinical process improvements and policy developmentSupport AutismCOE’s mission through partnership, leadership, and integrityQualifications
Active BCBA certification in good standing (per BACB standards)Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related fieldMinimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing BCBADemonstrated ability to lead, supervise, and collaborate effectivelyStrong organizational and communication skillsCommitment to ethical practice and adherence to HIPAA standardsCompensation & Benefits

Requirements
At least 3 years of BCBA experience is requiredBCBA Certification : Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis, per BACB guidelinesMaster’s degree in Behavior Analysis or related fieldExperience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilitiesPassionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision-making and best practicesExceptional skillset with leadership, time management, and observationStrong analytical thinker who is data-driven and client-centeredEffective Collaborator and team player, who is empathetic and culturally competentProtect clients’ rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulationsRequirements
Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required) Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education, or related field Eligible for or holding a Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential Experience working with children with autism in a clinical setting Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and leadership skills Commitment to compassionate, high-quality, family-centered care
