The IT Junior System Administrator is responsible for the implementation and support of technology infrastructure including hardware, software, and office systems. The Junior Systems Administrator must effectively diagnose issues and correct problems as well as provide primary help desk support to users. Strong teamwork, customer service attitude, analytical, organizational, and communication skills are essential. Ability to work independently is also required.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, and network difficulties.
• Monitor daily IT operations and respond to alerts.
• Install and configure servers, workstations, and IT equipment.
• Communicate plans, progress, and issues promptly.
• Maintain detailed ticket notes throughout issue resolution.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation of systems and networks.
• Track, prioritize, and document requests using support systems.
• Contribute to process improvements.
• Maintain confidentiality.
• Perform other duties or projects as assigned.
