Stantec's Puerto Rico office is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team. This position offers the right candidate the ability to make a major career advancement with one of the top engineering consulting firms in the world. The role involves project management, civil design / engineering, client management, business development, and project delivery of water, wastewater, and / or stormwater infrastructure projects including pipeline, pump station, and lift station design and construction. Your Key Responsibilities

Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following :

• Lead the design of water, wastewater, and / or stormwater conveyance infrastructure (e.g., water treatment plants, pipelines, pump stations, lift stations).
• Develop and prepare technical memorandums / reports, planning studies, specifications, detailed design drawings, and construction submittal reviews calculations, models and other technical deliverables for civil / utility, conveyance, treatment, and infrastructure related projects.
• Complete hydraulic models and service area studies or master plans.
• Consult with clients and subconsultants.
• Working in a manner to protect the health and safety of Stantec employees, clients, and the public by following company health, safety and security guidelines and policies.
• Maintaining and enhancing our reputation with clients, approval agencies and industry professionals as an outstanding service provider.
• Managing multiple projects simultaneously.
• Establishing project objectives, procedures and performance standards and leading multi-disciplinary teams on proposals, planning studies, feasibility through final designs, and construction services for Power Delivery projects.
• Ensure that the project's / client's needs are met in a timely and effective manner.
• Provide construction contract administration and site inspection services.
• Prepare and make presentations to clients and for professional meetings.
• Assist with business development pursuits, including preparation of proposals and interviews.

Qualifications

Your Capabilities and Credentials

The successful candidate will possess the following :

Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited university in Civil or Environmental Engineering, Masters degree optional but preferred. A minimum of 15 years of consulting experience, primarily in municipal infrastructure, with a minimum of 10 years' experience in project management of civil / municipal infrastructure projects (conveyance of water, storm, and wastewater). Professional Engineer Registration (Puerto Rico required, Florida optional). PMP preferred but not required.
