Senior Staff Auditor

Key Responsibilities
Take Ownership : Lead and perform all areas of substantive audit work, including planning, fieldwork, and reporting, across a variety of engagements.Audit Planning : Contribute to and execute audit planning, risk assessment, and strategy, leveraging your prior planning experience to ensure efficient, high-quality audits.Workpaper Preparation : Prepare and review comprehensive audit workpapers and documentation.Client Service : Develop proactive, positive relationships with clients to deliver superior service and gain in-depth understanding of their businesses.Technical Mastery : Demonstrate strong technical competence in US GAAP, audit standards, and professional requirements, with the ability to research and resolve complex accounting issues.Engagement Execution : Participate in audits, reviews, compilations, and related accounting services.Team Leadership : Mentor junior staff, actively contribute to team projects, and foster a collaborative environment.Efficiency & Initiative : Identify and implement process improvements; adapt quickly to new assignments and changing client needs.Effective Communication : Draft client reports, communicate clearly with clients and the team, and document work thoroughly.Technology Proficiency : Learn and use firm software systems, including ProSystem fx Engagement and others as assigned.Qualifications – All Must Be Met
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field from a four-year accredited college or university.Minimum two years’ experience in public accounting with hands-on financial statement audit experience (including audit planning and substantive testing) for non-profit organizations.Demonstrated proficiency in all stages of the audit process.Track record of functioning independently and collaboratively in an engaged, team-driven environment that values initiative and adaptabilityExcellent verbal and written communication skills.Strong interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.Positive, solutions-oriented approach; eager to take initiative and responsibility.US work authorization required.Compensation & Benefits
