As a Wealth Management Associate, you will provide support to our Trust Officers who provide trusted advice in the areas of personal trust, investment management, and estate and financial planning to our customers.
Duties include : Administration :
- Provide a high level of customer service through greeting visitors, answering telephone calls, managing the schedule, and arranging conference calls.
- Prepare outgoing mail and correspondence, read and route incoming mail and coordinate statement assembly and mailing.
- Provide Wealth Management and Trust Services department with administrative support, includes performing all tasks related to account recordkeeping, daily accounting and balancing processes, income and expense processing, customer disbursements, assisting with the management of short-term cash investments, maintaining tickler system and reporting on trust accounts as outlined in account agreements.
- Other administrative tasks include compiling, processing, and balancing information in compliance with department guidelines; daily, month-end, quarter-end, and year-end processing, billing and fee receipts, purchase / sale / settlement of investments, maintaining filing system, opening and closing of accounts, filing information as received, and record retention.
- Assist with various committee meetings as needed, including preparing agendas, putting together the packets for meetings, and maintaining committee files.
- Order and maintain supplies and arrange for equipment maintenance.
Trust Services :
May be required to assist in inventory of personal property of an estate under administration.Conduct research on file history in preparation for client meetings, or in response to auditor inquiries, or as needed.Work with commercial and retail departments to coordinate trust customer banking relationships.Prepare documentary forms for various accounts as needed.Safe Deposit Box Services :
Provide customers access to safe deposit boxes.Maintain safe deposit box records.Other :
Responsible for ensuring high-quality customer service is provided to both internal and external customers.Other duties as assigned.Qualified candidates would have a high school diploma or equivalent. An Associates degree in finance, business, or a related field or equivalent experience is preferred. In addition, knowledge of Wealth Management and Trust Services accounts and fiduciary responsibilities, as well as at least 2 years of administrative assistance experience are preferred. Excellent written / verbal communication skills, strong accuracy and attention to detail, well-developed customer service / relations skills, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and confidentiality are all important to the role.
