Sr. Administrative Assistant (GovCon Experience)
Position Summary :
The Senior Administrative Assistant will provide high-level administrative and operational support to executive leadership and program management teams within a Government Contracting (GovCon) environment. This role requires a proactive professional with excellent organizational skills, strong attention to detail, and a thorough understanding of the unique requirements of federal contracts, compliance, and documentation standards.
Responsibilities :
- Provide comprehensive administrative support including scheduling, calendar management, travel coordination, and meeting logistics.
- Prepare, review, and edit correspondence, reports, and presentations for internal and external distribution.
- Assist with contract documentation, proposal preparation, and maintenance of contract files in compliance with FAR / DFARS and company policies.
- Maintain and track project deliverables, deadlines, and action items to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with internal departments such as Finance, HR, and Contracts to support project execution and administrative compliance.
- Manage and organize confidential and sensitive information related to government contracts and personnel.
- Support onboarding, timekeeping, and training tracking for project staff.
- Facilitate communication between leadership, project managers, and government clients.
- Prepare expense reports, purchase requisitions, and assist with invoice processing as needed.
- Ensure consistent application of administrative policies and provide guidance to junior administrative staff.
$55,000 - $65,000 a year
