Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an experienced Interventional Radiology Technologist with at least 4 years of cath lab experience and a valid Fluoroscopy Permit.
Responsibilities
Work in an inpatient Interventional Radiology unit serving pediatric through geriatric populationsDay shift with 4x10 hour shifts from 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PMCall and float assignments are requiredUses Epic for EMR documentationProcedures performed include TAVR, Watchman, MitraClip, stents, ablations, angioplasty, angiograms, biopsies, drainages, and various vascular and neurological studiesExperience with Siemens and Phillips equipment required; experience with GE, Toshiba, Acuson, or Hitachi preferredResponsibilities include performing a broad range of diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures for diverse age groupsTeam environment with requirements for taking call and floating to other assignments as neededFirst-time travelers may be considered if they meet the experience requirementAll requests for time off must be submitted at the time of application and limited to 3-4 daysCandidates are advised to consider the high cost of living in the area before applyingRequirements
Minimum of 4 years cath lab experience requiredMinimum of 2 years general experience in Interventional Radiology requiredValid BLS and CRT required prior to startCurrent Fluoroscopy Permit requiredExperience with IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, PACS, portables, C-Arm, and contrast requiredInpatient experience required; outpatient, ER, trauma, community hospital, or ICU experience preferredEpic EMR experience requiredPreferred certifications include ACLS, ARRT, ARRT Advanced, and NMTCBCOVID-19 vaccination requiredLicense required if applicableBenefits
