Expanding Michigan firm with a critical role for a Survey CAD Technician is hiring in Grand Rapids!
Responsibilities :
- Perform basic mathematics calculations (pipe slopes, areas, volumes, etc.)
- Detail / develop construction plans
- Maintain uniformity in work products by reading / following CAD Standards and Operating Procedures (standards, conventions, guidelines)
- Review / check plans for accuracy
- Provide an estimate of man hours required to complete CAD projects
- Process engineering calculations and site plan / utility layout with minimal supervision
- Process existing / proposed profiles
- Plot legal descriptions for parcels, easement, and right of ways
- Import survey data into Civil 3D
- Produce boundary, topographical, ALTA and as-built surveys
- Generate stake-out coordinates / plot information for field crew
Requirements :
Salary is commensurate with experience.
