Join McGraw-Hill Education (MHE) as a Senior Data Engineer within the Data and Analytics team and help transform business intelligence capabilities across financial, product, customer, user, and third-party domains. You'll play a hands-on role architecting and delivering scalable reporting and analytics solutions to support innovation in education.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. Candidates must be available to work during Eastern Time (ET) core hours.

What You'll Do :

• Develop and deliver AWS-based data solutions with hands-on cloud engineering expertise
• Build and manage big data pipelines using Databricks or similar Spark-based platforms
• Design and implement parallel ETL processes to optimize resources and processing speed
• Architect data models and modern data solutions including cloud technologies
• Collaborate cross-functionally to translate business needs into technical requirements
• Drive performance monitoring and reliability of the Data Platform
• Lead the creation of technical specification design and end-to-end documentation
• Ensure runbook SLA compliance and oversee daily cloud platform operations
• Utilize tools like Git, Jira, and agile methodologies for project management

The pay range for this position is between $124,000- $155,000 USD annually, however, base pay offered may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and location.An annual bonus plan may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical and / or other benefits, depending on the position offered.
