JOB TITLE :                 Production Operator

DEPARTMENT :        Production

SUPERVISOR :           Production Supervisors

COMPENSATION :    Full Time – Non-Exempt ($18-20 / hour)

POSITION REPONSIBILITIES

• Strict adherence to manufacturing guidelines including, Safety, GMP and SQF
• Ability to follow verbal and written directions.
• Eagerness to learn all aspects of equipment operation, including troubleshooting.
• Maintain a clean and organized working area.
• Willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to stand during a 10-hour shift and lift up to 55lbs.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or equivalent education

Basic mathematical skills

Flexible schedule, able to work occasional nights and weekends

Be a team member

EXPERIENCE

1-2 years of food or FMCG manufacturing experience preferred

Previous experience with operating of manufacturing equipment

Food handling and manufacturing knowledge preferred

ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

Fluent English required. Bilingual preferred

Hobart equipment knowledge
