We need your knowledge as an information security risk specialist to help break down complex threats into manageable plans of action.

As an information security risk specialist on our team, you’ll work with AWSto discover cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan. You’ll get technical and personnel details from SMEs and engineers to assess the entire threat landscape. Then, you’ll help your team guide your client through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.

You’ll work with your client to translate security concepts, so they can make the best decisions to secure their intellectual property, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical systems. This is your opportunity to act as an information security subject matter expert while broadening your skills in cloud computing or data science.

Responsibilities

• Work with AWS to discover cyber risks, understand applicable policies, and develop a mitigation plan.
• Obtain technical and personnel details from SMEs and engineers to assess the threat landscape.
• Help the team guide clients through a plan of action with presentations, white papers, and milestones.
• Translate security concepts for non-technical audiences to support decision-making to secure intellectual property, critical infrastructure, or mission-critical systems.
• Broaden skills in cloud computing or data science while acting as an information security subject matter expert.

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $99,000.00 to $225,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees.
