Security Controls Assessor (SCA), Senior

Overview

Sentar is seeking a Senior Security Controls Assessor (SCA) in Columbia, MD. This role requires a TS / SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Conduct verification and validation for security compliance of all information systems, products, and components.
• Analyze design specifications, design documentation, configuration practices and procedures, and operational practices and procedures.
• Identify non-compliance with security requirements and propose possible mitigations for non-compliant requirements.
• Conduct on-site evaluations and validate that the information system meets security requirements.
• Verify and validate that the system meets security requirements and provide vulnerability assessments of the system.
• Coordinate penetration testing and produce a comprehensive verification and validation report (certification report) for the information system.
• Provide process improvement recommendations and assist the Government in drafting standards and guidelines for usage.
