job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergencies when appropriate. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner. Conduct regular and random patrols around the manufacturing and industrial location, including the business premises and perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report any suspicious activity or security-related concerns to Allied Universal management and / or client representatives. Monitor access points and help to control entry and exit of personnel, visitors, and vehicles as required by site procedures. Maintain detailed logs and reports of daily activities, incidents, and any security-related concerns. Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and client staff to support a secure environment within the industrial setting. Follow all site-specific instructions and protocols, adapting to varying working environments and conditions as required. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available A valid Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) issued by the Transportation Security Administration (TSA) is required. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. As a Security Professional - Manufacturing Patrol Full-Time in Norfolk, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. Your visible presence will help to deter security-related incidents while you provide outstanding customer service and communication to all individuals on site.
