Revenue Accountant I

Job Opportunity

The main responsibility of this position is analyzing non-operated revenue and ownership for proper disbursement to interest owners. This also includes analysis of various aspects related to oil & gas revenue and accounting related transactions.

Job Duties and Responsibilities :

• Record non-operated revenue
• Ensure revenue statements are recorded properly across all wells in SAP PRA based on Company's share
• Review purchaser statements & check details for all products to determine accuracy of revenue payments
• Prepare and create uploads directly into Accounting Software (SAP)
• Perform accounting analysis in SAP
• Provide proper documentation for revenue voucher submitted for review
• Ensure all revenue voucher related back-up is scanned and saved in proper locations
• Meet all revenue distribution deadlines
• Assist other members of the Revenue Group as needed
• Perform various ad hoc projects as assigned
• Communicate with other departments within the company to resolve outstanding items
• Prepare monthly account reconciliations as needed
