As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing peace of mind to those in the environment. Your role includes performing routine patrols, staying visible to help deter unwanted activity, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. Position Type : Part Time

Pay Rate : $32.70 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTime Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM Fri 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM Sat 11 : 00 PM - 07 : 00 AM

What You'll Do :

Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.

Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while maintaining professionalism.

Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.

Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help to deter unauthorized access and / or activities.

Interact with employees, visitors, and / or contractors to provide information and assistance as needed.

Document and report security-related incidents, observations, and / or hazards according to Allied Universal protocols.

Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency personnel as required during incidents.

Follow protocols for handling security-related equipment and maintain awareness of site-specific requirements for an armed patrol post at a government location.

What We're Looking For :

Availability across various days and shifts

Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments

A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company

Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

Minimum Requirements :

Graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent is required.

Possess an armed guard card or license as required by law.

Possess a state, county, or city issued security-related license if required by law.

Possess a valid firearms permit as required by law.

Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Participate in industry-specific security training programs.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
