Job Title : CNC Machinist and ProgrammerJob Description

We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist and Programmer to set up and operate equipment for manufacturing high-quality parts. The ideal candidate will be proficient in programming from scratch in an office setting and adept at running and setting up machines while adhering to production standards and safety precautions.

Responsibilities

• Set up machinery according to the production schedule.
• Inspect parts for proper documentation.
• Run parts for production while ensuring proper safety equipment is in use.
• Place finished parts into designated containers and ensure all material is clearly identified.
• Ensure accuracy of completed work and computer entries.
• Report any machine malfunctions, production, quality, or safety issues immediately.
• Perform repetitive bending, reaching, and lifting actions with materials weighing 10 to 100 pounds.
• Regularly inspect in-process and finished parts to meet quality goals and zero defect criteria.
• Perform all production duties according to established procedures.
• Provide suggestions for continual process improvement to enhance quality and efficiency.
• Maintain a clean work environment and assist in material handling duties when necessary.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Department Leader.

This position operates in a spacious manufacturing facility with over 70,000 square feet at our original Ferndale location, with quick access to major highways. We manufacture parts for military, electric cars, buses, and USPS trucks, supporting our troops by supplying parts to military contractors. Job Type & Location

This is a Permanent position based out of Warren, Michigan.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $52000.00 - $72800.00 / yr.
