CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator, Pay is Dependent on experience, Warren, MI

Workbox Staffing is hiring for a CNC Lathe Programmer / Operator in Warren, MI.

The ideal candidate would be mainly responsible for programming and operating the CNC Mill.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Must be able to set up, operate, and maintain operations on one or more Okuma CNC controlled machines
• Must be able to program machine according to the CAD drawing and assist other lathe operators with programming.
• Ability to work independently and with a team
• Observes all safety regulations
• Perform preventative maintenance and quality inspections
• Inspect parts for defects and ensure product meets customer requirements
• Inspect and gauge parts
• Edit programs as needed
• Obtain all required tooling, drawings and any special instruction
• Any other tasks as needed
