Senior Account Executive

Part of Omnicom's Precision Marketing Group, RAPP is comprised of 2,000+ creatives, technologists, strategists, and data and marketing scientists across 15+ global markets.

RAPP is seeking a Senior Account Executive to focus on our AT&T account for our agency. The expectation is that the Senior AE is a principal of coordination, demonstrating high potential in core Business Leadership skills. You will understand the agency portfolio of offerings and how to apply them to solve client business problems. You are an Agency driver that works to keep the agency operations moving along.

Your responsibilities include :

  • Building expertise on a brand's competitive landscape and product differentiators.
  • Understanding appropriate research techniques for strategy, creative, and media needs.
  • Collaborating with strategy to develop briefs.
  • Participating in / having exposure to development of client marketing strategy.
  • Knowing when to escalate potential problems.
  • Acting as key collaborator with internal groups and with client for project-based needs.
  • Being able to partner with, organize and navigate assignments effectively.
  • Evaluating creative work and providing feedback for revisions, as needed.
  • Able to adequately represent client interests to team.
  • Collaborating with team at appropriate times to ensure consensus around project approach and development, etc.
  • Effectively and proactively communicating to client issues that can result in a scope change.
  • Monitoring critical project hand-offs.
  • Initiating, presenting, and driving to completion value-added projects (participation dependent on level of complexity).
  • Understanding the implications of business strategy on project decisions.
  • Responsible for delivery of timely conference reports.
  • Setting up meetings, including the correct people, and providing accurate agendas and precise, actionable meeting notes.

Required skills include :

  • Established track record of successfully coordinating client initiatives.
  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • 5+ years industry experience with digital or CRM background.
  • Agency experience a must.
  • Experience supporting integrated marketing campaigns (including advertising, CRM, digital, social media, SEO / SEM, and especially email marketing and direct mail).
  • Understands the importance of data variables and tracking to drive dynamic communications.
  • Proven ability to express self clearly and organize ideas well.
  • Capable of presenting ideas / new opinions with confidence.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced environment, and respond quickly as business factors shift.
  • Ability to think strategically, creatively, and holistically about client opportunities.
  • Has a passion for doing great work.
  • May include minimal travel.
  • RAPP's current hybrid model is designed to enable in-person connections and collaboration that is core to our culture, while also supporting flexibility for all employees. As such, we have the option to work from home two days per week, if we'd like.

    RAPP provides a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits plan. This range is specific to Los Angeles and multiple factors are considered in making compensation decisions including, but not limited to : skill set, experience and training, certifications; etc. This is an exempt position.
