Position Summary

The Facilities and Maintenance Technician plays a vital role in maintaining the functionality and aesthetic appeal of our

distillery facilities. This hands-on position ensures that all buildings, equipment, and infrastructure are

well-maintained, safe, and operational. Ideal candidates are proactive problem-solvers with broad

maintenance skills and a "can-do" attitude.

Responsibilities :

• Perform routine inspections of buildings facilities to identify maintenance needs and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Respond promptly to equipment maintenance requests and emergencies to minimize plant downtime.
• Oversee and assist with facility upgrades and renovations.
• Conduct minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, HVAC units, general building components.
• Maintaining and visiting multiple properties.
• Handle basic carpentry tasks, including door adjustments, furniture repairs, and shelving installations
• Paint and touch up walls, equipment, and fixtures as needed.
• Maintain and repair small machinery and tools.
• Ensure upkeep of exterior areas, including landscaping, snow removal, and general cleaning.
• Work closely with vendors and contractors when specialized repairs or service is required.
• Maintain accurate logs of maintenance activities and supplies inventory.
• Have a positive cultural impact on the company and in their work space.

Skills & Qualifications :

• Valid Drivers License
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• Proven experience as a handyman, facilities technician, or similar role.
• Working knowledge of building systems, including electrical, plumbing and HVAC.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and efficiently.
• Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them, checking blueprints, repair manuals, or parts catalogs, as necessary.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects ( up to 80lbs ) and work in various environments.
• Positive Attitude and team oriented.

• Travel : 5-10%
• Must be at least 21 years of age. Must be able to sit and / or stand for long periods of time and
