APU Manager / Area Manager
Manage and lead all the following activities pertaining to his / her area of responsibility; safety, personnel, quality, maintenance, efficiency and cost saving.
Essential duties and responsibilities :
Supervisory responsibilities : Supervises the Production Supervisors in the assembly and cement, or molding department.

Must have good interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate with all departments and Management Staff, and other plant and office personnel. Attention to detail and accuracy. Must have good computer skills with a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must understand all processes in a manufacturing environment.
Education & / or Experience :
Mathematical Skills :
Must have good understanding of general mathematical reasoning. With a proven ability to make decisions based on data.
Computer Skills :
Microsoft Office, ADP Etime, and MAPICS / AS400
Reasoning Ability :
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and process several abstract and concrete variables. Must be able to assess reasonableness of the analysis performed.

Physical Demands :
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for extended periods of time; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to stoop, kneel, and crouch. The employee must regularly lift and / or move up to 10 pounds. Employee may be required to travel.
Work Environment :
The employee will be in a shared office (cubicle) environment. There may be occasions where the employee will have tasks to perform in a Laboratory environment and a Manufacturing environment, where Personal Protective Equipment such as Hearing Protection, Safety Glasses and Safety Shoes are required.
