Henderson Engineers is looking to hire a Technical Director to join their Grocery & Distribution team in Lenexa, KS. The Technical Director is responsible for quality and efficiency of all technical aspects of engineering across the sector. The Technical Director manages the implementation of quality-related strategies and directs policies and procedures appropriate to the technical areas of the sector. The Technical Director contributes technical oversight to business decisions and execution of projects to ensure alignment with the sector's technical expertise and work pursuits. The Technical Director works cooperatively with other sector and organizational leadership teams to define and mobilize company- wide strategies. This position is heavily matrixed and may include accountabilities to the Chief Technical Officer, Director of Engineering, and / or technical quality team leadership.

Required Qualifications :

• Ten (10) or greater years of relevant experience , with a minimum of five (5) years leadership / management experience. (e.g., personnel management, project management, program direction, strategic leadership).
• History of building and / or overseeing technically superior teams that drive business results.
• Extensive understanding of the technical needs of the industry and proven track record of quality monitoring, maintenance, and improvement.
• Demonstrated ability to partner with cross-functional leadership to align efforts and meet organizational goals.
