Job Title : Production Machinist

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and mechanically inclined Production Machinist to join our team in an industrial manufacturing environment. This role involves assisting in the machining of large metal parts, operating 4-axis horizontal mills, and ensuring quality production processes. Responsibilities

• Assist in the machining of large metal parts for production.
• Operate 4-axis horizontal mills effectively.
• Change inserts, clean, and maintain the work area around the machine.
• Run production cycles varying from 1 hour to 5 minutes.
• Ensure precision and accuracy in all machining tasks.
• Utilize hand tools, calipers, and micrometers for measurement and quality assurance.
• Prepare and set up production runs, tooling, and fixturing.
• Operate and manage 24" and 36" grinders, including safety procedures.
• Adjust machine settings and verify dimensions of stock.

Work Environment

Work in an open industrial machine shop with open bay doors. The location is approximately 0.5 miles from the headquarters, offering a dynamic and hands-on working environment in Wilsonville, OR. Dress code is casual, suitable for a manufacturing setting.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, Oregon.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $24.00 / hr.
