Pathways on the Park, a 55+ independent living community is seeking a full-time Leasing Consultant to join their team. This community boasts 1- and 2-bedroom apartments, with fully equipped kitchen with either balconies or patios, a community fitness center & solarium.
The Leasing Consultant plays an integral role in the success of our team, our community and in creating a place our residents are proud to call home by providing unparalleled service to applicants and residents to find them the perfect home at our community.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year of sales & strong customer service experience. The leasing consultant's primary role is to drive occupancy in their community, by marketing and seeking new residents as well as leading current resident retention.
Shift : Days, Monday-Friday with on-call availability
Wage : $16-20 / hour, based on experience

Essential Job Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities
Address the concerns of current and prospective residents in a friendly and professional mannerMarket and advertise the community. Utilize a wide variety of media and promotional materialsPresent the community and its amenities positively to prospects, assisting them to envision the community as their future home while ascertaining their needs and qualificationsTour and lease units as necessary by accompanying prospects to model or available units and discuss size and layout of rooms, available facilities (swimming pool, workout room, etc.), location of area amenities, services available, and terms of leaseEnter prospect and applicant information into property management softwareNegotiate lease terms and conditions, and close dealsAssist residents and applicants with their application or lease renewal paperwork, and confirm rental application data and personal referencesEnsure timely follow-up with all residents and prospects (thank you note, phone call, etc.)Track, schedule and communicate move-ins and move-outsMaintain up to date resident files on every unitRemain knowledgeable of the property market status and assist in the preparation of market surveysPrepare and distribute notices, newsletters or important event informationAssist Property Manager as needed by providing administrative and requested assistanceRefer applicants to other communities managed by The Goodman Group, as appropriateInteract positively with residents to maintain high levels of resident satisfactionDemonstrate strong professionalism and integrity as a representative of the communityContribute to cleanliness and curb appeal of the communityComply with all industry Fair Housing rules and regulationsOperate within OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Act) standards and company safety policies at all timesOther duties as assigned by Property ManagerRequired Skills and Qualifications
