A company is looking for a Medicare Specialist to manage and resolve aged medical claims for hospital or physician groups.
Key Responsibilities
Resolve cash generating accounts and review Medicare claims for status
Post adjustments on facility systems and work on denials and appeals
Maintain production criteria and ensure accurate account documentation
Qualifications and Requirements
High School Diploma or GED; some college preferred
1-2 years of experience with traditional Medicare claims
1-2 years of experience with DDE Direct Data Entry system
Able to type 50 wpm
Familiarity with Health Information Systems is beneficial
