Human Resources Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled and dynamic Human Resources Manager to lead and oversee all aspects of our HR function. This individual will manage HR Coordinators, oversee recruitment, administer benefits programs (including 401k and FMLA leave), drive training and leadership development initiatives, and act as a trusted partner to the leadership team. This role will also manage employee relations, support legal and compliance initiatives, coordinate employee engagement activities, and oversee company philanthropic efforts. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, and confident in navigating a fast-paced and sometimes ambiguous environment.
Team Leadership : Supervise, coach, and develop HR Coordinators to ensure operational excellence.
Recruitment & Onboarding : Oversee full-cycle recruiting for all dealership and corporate positions, ensuring a smooth onboarding experience for new hires.
Benefits Administration : Manage all employee benefits programs, including health, dental, vision, ancillary benefits, 401k, and FMLA leave.
Employee Relations : Serve as a trusted resource for employees and managers, handling employee concerns, investigations, and conflict resolution with professionalism and confidentiality.
Compliance & Legal Partnership : Work closely with the Chief Compliance Officer to ensure compliance with employment laws, company policies, and industry regulations.
Training & Development : Design, implement, and track training and development initiatives to strengthen leadership capabilities and employee performance.
Culture & Engagement : Plan and execute employee engagement events and initiatives to foster a positive and inclusive workplace culture.
Philanthropy Management : Oversee company-sponsored philanthropic programs and community engagement efforts.
Travel : Regularly visit all dealership locations to support leaders, employees, and HR initiatives.
Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred (HR Certification preferred : SHRM-CP, PHR, or higher).
3+ years of progressive HR experience, including people leadership responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of HR best practices, benefits administration, employee relations, and employment law.
Proven success building relationships and influencing leaders at all levels.
Experience in multi-site or dealership / retail environment strongly preferred.
Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
