Job Description : The Manager Food Services plans, organizes, coordinates and directs provision of high quality, cost effective food preparation and kitchen operations of a Metro hospital that meet or exceed the market, community, patient, and hospital expectations while maintaining JCAHO, regulatory, and budget requirements. Responsibilities
- Plans, develops, coordinates, and supervises the operation of the kitchen to provide the highest quality cost effective foods on a consistent basis
- Oversees inventory, purchasing, and disbursement of all food and related supplies and conducts weekly physical inventory
- Provides and monitors training, education and development of employees within area of responsibility to include orientation, job training and personal development
- Monitors industry trends and recommends appropriate action(s) to take in order to maintain competitive status and profitability
- Develops short and long range goals for the food service area supporting Integrated Service and strategic goals of INTEGRIS Health Metro
- Assists in planning and development of departmental operating and capital budgets and monitors payroll and non-payroll expenditures for Food Service
- Ensures a safe environment and ongoing compliance of all services with JCAHO, Federal, State, local, and other regulatory agencies
- Reports to assigned leader

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in food and nutrition or related field; or graduate of a culinary institute / school; and / or equivalent comparable experienceHACCP certification or Registered Dietician certificationExperience with computerized food service management systems in the provision of food production services, as well as various PC software applications including Excel3 years culinary, institution and / or restaurant food preparation and management experience in a similar size environmentFood service experience in healthcare preferredThis job may require the incumbents to operate an INTEGRIS-owned vehicle OR personal vehicle (non INTEGRIS-owned) and therefore must have a current Oklahoma State Driver's License as well as a driving record which is acceptable to our insurance carrier, if applicable. Must be able to communicate effectively in EnglishEmployment type
