This job description is for an AI Engineering Team Lead role. Based in Orange County, the company is a retail technology firm focused on AI / ML, big data, and data-driven insights. The position is permanent and involves leading a team of engineers to design and deploy AI / ML and data processing solutions.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of AI engineers to design and implement innovative AI / ML solutions.
• Develop a technical strategy for AI / ML and data processing initiatives.
• Design and build large-scale data processing systems.
• Use TensorFlow, PyTorch, and langChain for AI / ML development.
• Design data processing systems and work with data transformation tools, automated data pipelines, and backend services.
• Develop software using Node.js, React, TypeScript, GraphQL, GitHub, AWS, and cloud infrastructure automation tools.
• Work with GCP BigQuery, Spark, Databricks, and Snowflake for big data processing.
• Manage software projects from inception to deployment, ensuring timely delivery and quality.
• Collaborate with other teams and stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in AI / ML and data processing technologies and methodologies.
