• No. of Beds in Department : 10-bed SICU
• Trauma Level : Level I or II

• Specialty Backup Available : Acute Care Surgeon (daytime only)
• Support Staff Available : Nurse Practitioners

• Licenses : Active AZ license and DEA required
• Certifications : ATLS required
• Experience : Level I or II trauma experience required
• Other Qualifications : BE / BC in General Surgery with Surgical Critical Care fellowship; must work well with NPs and manage pediatric patients DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide night coverage in SICU, trauma floor, and step-down unit
• Manage critically ill surgical and trauma patients
• Collaborate with nurse practitioners
• Independently document all clinical notes
• Ensure high-quality care in a high-acuity, multidisciplinary setting
