In our 1 : 1 ABA setting, you will work hands-on with children aged 18 months to 8 years, using ethical and evidence-based ABA techniques within a supportive center environment. Your Role as a Behavior Therapist :
- Implement one-on-one ABA therapy to aid children with Autism in achieving their full potential by interpreting treatment plans, applying therapeutic techniques, collecting data, and integrating feedback from supervisors during sessions.
- Facilitate the developmental growth of children in early childhood through engaging and enjoyable therapeutic activities.
- Collaborate with a dedicated team to enhance treatment, maintain safety, and create a fun working atmosphere throughout the center.
- Engage with children through play and creative activities, which might include running, dancing, singing, reading, or playing with toys to foster a joyful learning environment.
- Communicate effectively with peers, families, and supervisors to coordinate activities, celebrate achievements, and advocate for the children's needs.
Job Requirements :
Physical Ability : Lift and move children up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, and stay agile to engage actively with young children while maintaining safety and a tidy work environment.Therapeutic Environment : Maintain play spaces that are organized and conducive to engaging therapy sessions.Multitasking Skills : Manage multiple actions and priorities efficiently while ensuring safety for all involved.Team Collaboration : Support teams by working effectively as a cohesive center, neighborhood, and region, including occasional travel to nearby centers.Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.Must be at least 18 years of age and possess a High School diploma or GED equivalent.Complete the RBT certification process within 20 days of employment, which includes passing a 40-hour training curriculum, competency assessments, and the board's exam.

Preferred Experience :
