RESPONSIBILITIES
Analyze project documents (drawings, specifications, and proposals) to accurately estimate the costs of electrical systems for various projects.Perform detailed material takeoffs and labor estimates to prepare comprehensive bid packages.Manage vendor solicitations and perform Go / No Go bid analysis prior to bidding.Attend job walks and pre-bid meetings and communicate with clients to clarify project requirements and address concerns.Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain and negotiate the best pricing.Complete estimates and bid submissions within designated timelines to meet project deadlines and client expectations.. Manage projects / attend project meetings / prepare status reports for clientsProvide support in project scheduling, manpower, material, and cost forecasting.Identify potential project risks and develop strategies to mitigate them.Ensure compliance with all relevant codes, standards, and safety regulations.Participate in post-bid meetings to evaluate bid performance, identify areas for improvement, and incorporate lessons learned into future estimates.Coordinate with project management to track and report on bid success rates, market trends, and competitive landscape.Maintain accurate records of estimates, bids, correspondence, and revisions for future reference and analysis.Contribute to business development efforts by identifying potential projects, networking with industry contacts, and building relationships with clients and partners.Stay updated on industry trends, construction methodologies, material costs, and regulations to improve estimating accuracy and efficiency.Shape and refine the company's estimating processes and procedures.Other responsibilities and duties may be assigned.EXPERIENCE, SKILLS AND EDUCATION
5 years of electrical estimating experience, with emphasis on public works projects.Comprehensive understanding of commercial electrical systems, including low and high voltage.Experience with MS Office Suite and estimation software (e.g., Accubid, Building Connected).Expert in reading and analyzing electrical systems and specifications.Be a team player but have the ability to work independently to meet company goalsBENEFITS :

Salary $100,000-$125,000 annually based on experienceYear-End Bonus : Eligible for a performance bonus at the end of the year, reflecting your contribution to our success. This is our way of rewarding hard work and dedication.
