Job Summary :

The Supply Planner is responsible for ensuring the right amount of product is at the right location at the right time. This involves coordinating with various teams, including sourcing, scheduling, logistics and outside vendors. Their goal is to meet fill rate targets while managing the inventory levels and obsolescence to keep the business running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities :

Utilize demand plan-driven production / materials requirements, manage supply planning of finished goods for plants (internal and external), including :

• Maintain a master production schedule
• Issue purchase orders for all 3rd-party production requirements
• Track fill rate / availability, inventory, obsolescence, and vendor performance.

Utilize JD Edwards ERP and Kinaxis APS systems to evaluate, maintain, and execute short and long-term production plans to support customer orders and forecasts, while also aligning to inventory targets.

Execute the distribution plan by creating and monitoring inventory transfers for multiple distribution centers to maintain the finished goods needed to support projected customer demand and allocation plans.

Proactively identify and resolve customer service, production, and inventory issues by detecting root causes and utilizing appropriate problem resolution / corrective action techniques. Ability to create executive-level updates on critical supply issues.

Generate and present executive-level reports for Supply Reviews. Influences Supply Review content to support the resolution of Supply Chain issues that impact customer service or inventory targets.

Monitor adherence to the plan while collaborating with plants, distribution, warehousing, and other supply chain groups to resolve any issues that arise.

Support Master Data maintenance in ERP / APS systems.

Measure and track critical KPI's and drive improvement in areas such as fill rate, adherence, and attainment.

Utilizes key inventory concepts to influence optimization of inventory across the supply chain.

National Target Base Pay Range : $78,000.00 - $128,000.00. The salary range for this position is based on national standards. For candidates in California and the New York metro, the Target Base Pay Range is $86,000.00 - $142,000.00, to reflect the cost of living and market conditions in those areas.

Actual compensation will take into account a wide range of factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to geographic location, education, experience, qualifications, and job-related skills. It is not typical for an individual to be hired above the midpoint of the range for their role, and compensation decisions depend on the facts and circumstances of each case. Base pay is only one component of our total rewards offerings, and we will take the full offering into consideration when presenting an offer of employment. Our total rewards package for this position may also include an annual performance bonus, Medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K match, and other wellness benefits.
