Shift : Rotational Evening Shift, 11 : 00 AM – 11 : 00 PM

Hours : 36 hours per week (3x12 hour shifts)

Employment Type : Travel Registered Nurse, W2

Estimated Weekly Pay : $2100–$2250 per week

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State

Associate's Degree in Nursing (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Current certifications : BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC

Minimum 1 year of clinical nursing experience in acute care, emergency room, or ambulatory setting

Strong collaboration, communication, and critical thinking skills

ER Nurse Responsibilities

Assess, plan, coordinate, implement, and evaluate nursing care for diverse emergency room patients

Serve as primary or accountable nurse, ensuring patient safety and effective care delivery

Educate patients and families on health promotion and disease management

Safely administer medications and treatments per hospital policy

Participate in shared governance, quality improvement, and peer review initiatives

Mentor and support new employees and nursing students

Maintain compliance with all regulatory and professional nursing standards

Perform Charge Nurse or Shift Coordinator duties as assigned
