Position Full-time ENG / Video Editor / Photographer. KPNX / 12News is seeking a full‑time ENG / Video Editor / Photographer. The ideal candidate must be ready and able to create high quality content that meets deadlines, possess excellent communication and organizational skills, and work well under pressure within a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Create story‑telling that meets the highest journalistic standards.
• Edit a variety of video elements including voice‑overs, SOTS, packages, graphics, opens and teases.
• Operate non‑linear edit systems and have experience with Adobe Creative Cloud (After Effects & Photoshop) – a plus.
• Coordinate incoming video feeds, record, and maintain quality control.
• Work closely with news producers, reporters, photojournalists, and the digital team to create the best morning / evening shows.
• Handle multiple editing assignments, capturing feeds, FTP material, and monitor quality control editing to scripts and producer notes.
• Operate live broadcast systems such as Microwave (Troll system), Dejero Control, TVU’s Grid, and satellite receivers to tune in live shots.
• Cooperate in sending station‑produced video to the network and other TEGNA sister stations when asked.
