job_description.job_card.job_descriptionCollaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and subcontractors Attend pre-bid meetings and site visits to gather project information Coordinate with suppliers and subcontractors to obtain competitive pricing Identify potential risks, value engineering opportunities, and constructability issues Prepare bid proposals and supporting documentation within specified timeframes Contribute to refining our estimating processes and procedures Implement best practices to improve accuracy and efficiency Maintain up-to-date knowledge of construction methods, materials, and market conditions Participate in post-project reviews to validate estimates and improve future accuracy Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, OR Minimum 3-5 years of construction estimating experience Proven track record of preparing accurate estimates for similar project types Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and database management Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, specifications, and contracts Understanding of construction methods, materials, and industry standards Knowledge of local building codes and regulations Strong analytical and mathematical skills Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Effective communication and presentation abilities Time management skills with ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously Problem-solving mindset with focus on continuous improvement Professional certifications (e.g., AACE, ASPE) Experience with [specific project types relevant to your company] Knowledge of local subcontractor and supplier networks Previous experience in a similar company size / culture Familiarity with design-build or construction management project delivery methods Associate Full-time Other Staffing and Recruiting Construction
Base pay range

Responsibilities
- Review and analyze architectural drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Prepare detailed quantity takeoffs for materials, labor, and equipment
