As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol - Full Time in Reno, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities :
Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols.Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures.Assist with crowd control and / or traffic management as needed during peak hours or special events.Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to address security-related concerns.Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors.What We're Looking For :

Possess at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles.Possess a valid armed guard card or license.Possess customer service experience, which is preferred.Possess a valid guard card or license, which is preferred.Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred.Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.Participate in industry-specific security training programs.Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.Why Join Us :
