job_description.job_card.job_descriptionProvide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location. Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times. Conduct regular and random patrols around the property and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior. Monitor access points and verify credentials of individuals entering restricted areas as required by site-specific protocols. Document and report all incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal and client procedures. Assist with crowd control and / or traffic management as needed during peak hours or special events. Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders when necessary to address security-related concerns. Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and provide reassurance to staff and visitors. Availability across various days and shifts Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available Possess at least one year of experience in armed security-related, law enforcement, or military roles. Possess a valid armed guard card or license. Possess customer service experience, which is preferred. Possess a valid guard card or license, which is preferred. Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, or baton is preferred. Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Participate in industry-specific security training programs. Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only. Saturday : 04 : 00 PM - 12 : 00 AM
Sunday : 12 : 00 PM - 08 : 00 PM
What You'll Do :
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
